Landscape Gardening Project – Creekmoor

The client wanted to maximise space in the rear garden by removing dying shrubs and laying new turf on the lawn area. The concrete path, raised patio area at the rear of the garden and adjacent to the back of the house were to be removed and replaced with natural stone patio slabs, laid in a random design. Railway sleepers were used to construct a step to each level and provide a more natural, organic appearance for the garden overall.

We added a drainage channel to the lower patio at the rear of the house to help keep it clear of surface water. We also removed the old, broken fence panels at the rear border of the garden and new, stronger, concrete fence posts with traditional lap panel fences.

Which Type Of Fence Panel To Choose?

There are many things to consider when deciding which type of fence panel or, possibly, panels to choose for your landscape gardening project:

  • Your budget
  • The time and expertise required to erect a fence
  • The purpose of the fence – is it for privacy? or security? or a decorative feature? or both? or to keep wildlife out? or something else entirely?
  • Long-term maintenance of your fence

Depending on your requirements, there may be just one or perhaps several fencing types which are suitable for your needs.
